I think (hope) that Trump's main accomplishment over the past 4 years is that he has divided the GOP for years to come and that the are now faced with the task of repairing the damage and rebuilding the party over the next 4 years. I also think that the courts will be saddled with criminal charges against Trump. His only saving grace is that he has insulated himself by (his) Supreme Court.

"his" supreme court may be leaning to the right but when it comes to clear cut crimes and evidence, he is still fucked - his support may give him a pass for shooting someone in the middle of 5th avenue, but the law is the law - if the evidence of a crime is plain and simple, no interpretation by right wing judges can overcome it

The death rate as a percentage of total cases in Canada is higher than in the USA
3.7% of Covid cases in Canada are fatal
That is a whopping 68% greater chance of dying with the disease in Canada.
2.2% in USA.
HOWEVER
Cases as % of population US....3.7%
Canada.......85%
US cases per population more than 4 times Canada

The more testing the more cases. .00075% of the US population has died from SARS2-covid19. In Mexico, central and parts of south America....averaging 16.5%.

doubled - my daughter is getting vaccinated this thursday - she's a nurse, although she doesn't work with covid patients Wow. My aunt got a vax - 87 years old in Quebec the wife used to come home every weekend and sit on the couch for 2 days and then back to michigan monday morning - past weekend she stayed in michigan because she needs to be tested before coming back, she thinks - even the guards at the border didn't know what to tell her when she asked 2 weeks ago - anyway, she was complaining about the whole year while on the phone this past weekend and I told her to think of the parties we're going to have this summer after the vaccinations are almost done - I said everybody is going to want to party - a few of our friends have rvs and we have a lot of yard and I still have my pioneer sx1050 to crank out tunes through a couple pairs of huge speakers - we know how to rock and this summer the rabbits and coons will too
