can you believe the way trump is trying to fuck up mail in ballots??? I have to give him credit for knowing more votes means less for the GOP - at least he got one thing right in his addled brain - but does he really think nobody sees what he's doing and he will get away with it?

The USPS and FEDEX have both said they can't handle the traffic mail in voting would require. They can do it, but the results of the election will be delayed for several days if not weeks. You're talking about next day delivery, which they are set up to handle on a historic basis, not millions in a single day. Further, there have already been incidences of fraud in municipal/local elections and many of the ballots were 'bearer ballots'...meaning they aren't directed to a person, they are simply a ballot that anyone can fill out and return, were sent. Further, an Ohio election worker was arrested for sending out all of the ballots she was charged with sending, with the 'straight party' box already checked. Democrat, of course. So there are legitimate concerns about it. If it's ok for people to go out and demonstrate and riot, then they can go to a poll station to vote. If you can go to costco and walmart and restaurants, which you can, you can go out and vote. If you can fly commercial, which you can, you can go out and vote. If masks are as effective as they say they are, you can go out and vote.
It doesn't matter in the end. This virus, like all rna-virus's, mutates and they have recently found yet another more deadly strain. This virus will take the same path as the flu-pandemic. 3 waves over the course of three years. The second wave being the most deadly. We are in the 1st wave. Graphically this looks exactly like the 1918 flu virus. A map of that virus show's it's spread exactly like this virus spread. With vaccines and 'herd immunity' we're looking at 8+ million dead in the US over the next three years. Second wave hitting late 2021 into 2022 and more than 100+ million dead globally. Fauci knows there is nothing that can be done. He and the rest of them have known this from day one. This is an extremely contagious virus with now 7 strains and the latest, being very deadly. During the later stages of the 1918 flu pandemic, people would get the virus and die within 24 hours. The virus is going to get STRONGER and it's going to kill more people and Fauci and all of these experts know there isn't a damn thing that can be done about it. You just have to go through it AND any attempt to delay it by 'hiding' or any other such thing, will be futile. Most everyone on the planet is going to get it, eventually, and that is just the simple reality of it. There is going to be new strains, this fall and winter. And the next year. The best bet is treating it effectively because it will...not...be....stopped. If it ended up killing me, I wouldn't be shocked by it, if I were alive to BE shocked. It just is what it is and that's what the science and history says. It's going to run through the global population and kill a lot of people. End of fucking story, and it won't matter where you are or what measures you take, eventually, you're going to have to raise your head out of the sand and come out of your bunker.
This isn't over by any means and in fact, it's just started and the upheaval from it is going to be vast and unpredictable and you can't fix it or change that, at no stimking' ballot box. A vote, won't kill a virus.

From best to worst case scenario: US: 90-150 million infected, 8-13+ million dead. Globally: 2+billion infected, 190-300+ million dead.
You can take that low number to the fucking bank.
