What a person says, or what a person does ? I guess what they do is taken to be more like 'evidence of character' but who they actually are is a 3rd thing beyond what they say or do. |

Of course. It's commonly said a person is not the best or worst thing they've ever done, which I suppose is true. A person is a totality of their life which isn't really known till their life is done. Anyone is going to be different at 50 than they are at 20. Hopefully, better.
